The Marquan Foxx Funeral Support Fund is named after Marquan Foxx, a bright young man who was murdered while sitting in a car in Cobbs Creek in a random act of violence. The program is dedicated to the Foxx Family and all West/Southwest Philadelphia families that have suffered indescribable losses due to gun violence.
The fund is a partnership between the West Philadelphia Corridor Collaborative and Progressive Change Community Development Corporation that will provide grants to West/Southwest Philadelphia families that have experienced a loss due to gun violence. In recognition of the financial hardship that sudden tragic deaths can have on a family, the fund provides grants of up to $1,000.00 for eligible funeral expenses.
